Here's a sneak peek from one of the two shoots we recently did with Indiamara- a super sweet girl with an interesting look and a beautiful name.

There are so many photos that I love from this set, but I'm afraid that they'll have to wait till I'm done retouching other photoshoots (which I can't wait to show you!)

Though it's been pretty crazy around here, things are going to become absolutely insane in three hours (or less). Let's hope that I'll survive the week and see you here next weekend.

Backstage + Runway: 664 by SWITCH

Many, many moons ago, I attended 664 by Switch - Pia's debut fashion show!! Founded by Pia and her classmate Jaime, who's also studying at Central Saint Martins, Switch was created with personalized sustainable fashion in mind. Pia's one of the most well-(over)-dressed people I know, so I was really excited to see her collection.

I got there earlier to go backstage with Fatiha, and we were thoroughly shocked by the lack of mass hysteria. Where were the young sobbing designers on the verge of a mental breakdown? Where were the haughty models?? Why was everyone so calm and collected?!

Outfit: Take a (Carrie K.) Bow

I've been spazzing over Carrie K.'s Gender Bender collection ever since I caught a glimpse of the pieces, so you can imagine my excitement (pictured above) when Carrie kindly let me parade around MFW with this gorgeous yellow-gold bowtie wrapped around my neck!

Yes, sharing an office with a jeweller definitely has its perks.

The bowtie was surprisingly light. Made entirely out of 925 sterling silver and plated with 14k gold, the quality's (obviously) amazing. It isn't half as fragile as I expected it to be, and it makes any outfit look polished.

I know I sound like an overzealous fangirl right now, so don't take my word for it. Come down to Carrie K.'s Atelier and see it for yourself! The atelier's located at 136 Bukit Timah Road, and it's open Saturdays from 2 to 7pm.

Men's Fashion Week 2012: Factotum

Factotum was established in 2004 by designer Udo Koji, a graduate from Tokyo Mode Gakuen. The label, which takes its name from the Cherles Bukowski novel, is stocked in over 40 stores in Japan.

I first heard of the brand when I saw their Fall campaign in 2010, and I loved how dramatic and intense the images were.
